Granola

This recipe is expensive and fattening and will feed you for months! Makes good gifts.

Ingredients:

Dry:

18 cups oats

1 cup peanuts

1 cup cashews

1 cup filberts

1 cup wheat bran

1 cup sunflower seeds

1 cup walnuts

1 cup almonds

1 cup wheat germ

1 cup shredded coconut

Wet:

3 cups honey

1 cup melted butter

1 cup corn oil

1 tablespoon vanilla


add 4 cups raisins




Method:

Mix dry ingredients.

Heat wet ingredients until warm and blended.

Pour honey mix over dry ingredients and mix.

Pour into baking pans and cook in 300 degree oven, stirring every 5 minutes for 20-30 minutes.

Cool and mix in 4 cup raisins.

Store in air-tight containers.
