Indian Fry Bread

Note from Katie: I traded fry bread sandwiches for meat sandwiches at school when I was a kid.

Ingredients:

2 cups flour

salt (or not) to taste

1 teaspoon baking powder


Method:

Add cold water until a mushy consistency. Pull a ball and pat on floured bread board to size of palm. Punch a hole in the middle. Fry in hot oil until golden. Wrap in towel.
