Humus

Ingredients:

1 can chickpeas/garbanzo beans (rinsed)

2 large cloves garlic, minced

4 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons juice from kalamata olives jar

2 tablespoons cumin

2 tablespoons parsley

2 tablespoons tahini (optional)

sprinkle cayenne




Method:

Throw everything but the cayenne into a blender or food processor. Blend until you don't know you are eating garbanzo beans.

Place in a bowl. drizzle with olive oil and top with parsley and sprinkle of cayenne.

Serve with Kalamata olives and pita bread wedges.
